Meeshelle L. Monti: Hi, I’m Meeshelle. If you knew me as a kid, you would have called me “Michelle.” But after living in France and winning over local residents by learning to swear in their native tongue, I came to like it best when people addressed me as "Meeshelle." So, I changed the spelling to make it easier for Americans to pronounce it that way. Sometimes when I introduce myself, I add the "My Belle" part because I like the Beatles, and I think it helps people remember my name. I like expressing myself through many creative forms. I've acted in plays nearly all of my life. For decades, I used to carry around a 35 mm camera and paid to get my pictures developed. I've dabbled in stand-up comedy and yes, I enjoy laughing at my own jokes. I can keep a beat on the ukelele, drums, and tambourine. I used to play with my friends in a band called the Sheeps (sic) and we practiced in a barn (also sic). For work, I've produced videos for national television channels, managed presentations for Fortune 500 companies, and organized events for dignitaries. But it turns out, what I've wanted to do my whole life was tell my own story. So, here we are.
